This is my first hike after having Covid. I started just south of Cauterets (Pyrenees) and hiked up the valley to Lac D'Estom, with a little detour up pic d'.

Lac d'Estom Wandelroute, foto's en beschrijving
itinéraire jusqu'au Lac d'Estom. La ballade est très bien indiquée et balisée (c'est un aller-retour sur le même sentier où nous longeons une rivière la majeure partie de la randonnée). Elle est très accessible et sans difficulté particulière (la dernière montée jusqu'au lac tire un petit peu mais elle se fait très bien).

Lac et refuge d'Estom. Entre bouquets de rhododendrons et cascades, la séduction opère sur le sentier du lac d'Estom ; un excellent choix si l'on randonne en famille. Au bout du chemin, une cascade sur le gave du Lutour précède le refuge d'Estom et son beau lac aux nuances de bleu et de vert, enchâssé dans les obliques des pentes à isards.
